Responsibility

BuildingtheunderlyinginfrastructurethatvirtuallyeveryotherengineeringteamatTwoSigmauses,suchasourdistributedstorageandpublicandprivatecloudenvironments.

Ensuringthereliabilityof“missioncritical”productsandsystemsvitaltoTwoSigma,suchasourmaintradingsystem.

Usingasuiteofopensourceandproprietarytoolstobuildtheenvironmentsthattestanddeployourquantitativestrategies,alsoknownasmodels.

Buildingandmaintainingthelow-latency,high-performanceinfrastructureandsystemsresponsibleforexecutingtrades.

Buildingandscalingtheinfrastructureusedtoingestdatafrom10,+sourcesdaily.

PartneringwithourCorporateteamstodeveloptools,systemsandproductsresponsibleforincreasingproductivityandefficiencyacrosstheorganization.

Qualifications：

CourseworktowardsaBachelor’s,Master’s,orPhDdegreeinatechnicalorquantitativefield.

ExperiencewithJava,C,C++,Python,Ruby,Perl,orotherlanguagesthattargettheJVM.

Experienceinlarge-scalesystems.

Exceptionalprogrammingskills.

Stronganalytical,organizational,andinterpersonalskills.

Anobsessionwithbuildingqualitysoftware.

Weareopen-mindedinoursearchforcriticalthinkerswhoarepassionateabouttechnology.Whileweanalyzethedata-richdomainoffinance,financialexperienceisnotarequirement.
